predictor_end/heading_line_end are computed once here, via VesselState’s own methods, rather than left for a client to derive – the whole reason this computation lives in nav-math rather than here. This shape is not incidental: it is exactly what a chart bridge – each client’s own module for it, on whichever platform – already expects to send onward.

The far end of the course predictor.

The far end of the heading line, when the vessel has a compass.

Course over ground, degrees true.
